Have a Lush Christmas!

Christmas shopping time has well and truly come around and where better place to start for some festive treats for your friends and family than Lush!  For first timers to Lush it can be a little daunting the first time you are lured in by the signature scent of the shop, so here are some ideas to get you started....

Please leave your comments about your favourite Lush products and recommendations as I would love to hear from you.

Love Laura xx

Bath Bombs

Bath bombs from Lush are a great stocking filler and can be used either once or a few times depending on how bubbly you like your bath!  Many of them turn the water a different colour and fizz up.  Some even make your bath all glittery!  These are just a few of the best this Christmas.

Father Christmas Bath Bomb £3.25

Magic Wand Bubble Bar £4.95
Golden Wonder Bath Bomb £3.25
Party Popper Bath Bomb £2.95
Luxury Bath Melts

Luxury bath melts literally melt gorgeous oils and fragrance into the water, leaving your skin feeling soft and moisturised.

You've been Mangoed £3.10
The Melting Snowman £1.95

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment £3.85
Soaps

The thing I love about Lush soaps is that they come in so many random shapes and prices that you can trial new ones to see which you like best.  No soap is ever the same and they are much nicer on your sink or in your shower than a boring pump soap.

North Pole Soap £3.25/ 100g
Snow Globe Soap £2.95/ 100g
The Godmother soap £2.95/ 100g

The final thing that I would recommend from Lush is the Dream cream.  It is a really rich hand and body lotion with a relaxing lavender scent.  It is perfect for protecting dry winter hands by giving them a treat overnight while you sleep.

Dream Cream £10.95/ 240g

Top Marks for Topshop's Basics

Topshop is a firm favourite on the high street when it comes to quality basics.  The current pieces do not disappoint, with a fantastic range and broad colour palette of 'Back to School' jumper colours for that Autumn feel.

Here are some of the latest...

Hoody £22

You can't go wrong with a Topshop hoody. Great for layering with shirts or alone zipped right up.  It will take you through to SS13.

Skinny Polo Crop Top £10

Wear with... a high waisted pencil skirt to dress up for night time glam.
Has small slits either side at the bottom so it isn't tight around the waist.

Neppy Tee £14

Great texture to this basic and long enough to cover your bum when wearing with leggings. The roll up sleeves add detail to this basic tee.

Curve Hem Sweater £18
A must-have sweater for this season.  Really light weight - buy a size bigger to get that boyfriend/ 'Dad at the Weekend' look.

Fleck Oversized Top £18
Another fleck textured top to add edge to a layering basic for this AW.  Long enough to cover your bum with leggings, but light enough to layer or tuck into skirts.

Side Split Tee £16
Really versatile tunic to dress up with a necklace or belt.  Long enough to wear alone with this seasons party pants.

Sloppy Sweater £25

The sloppy sweater looks great off-the-shoulder.  It is a mesh material so is ideal for layering with a crop tee or vest top.

We Love...M&S Autumn Knitwear

M&S is usually a brand which you only associate with your Mum or Gran, but things are definitely starting to change. Following its 'For every woman you are' AW12 campaign it really does have some great style pieces for the younger, fashion forward at affordable prices with the quality that you would expect.

M&S has always been known for its cashmere pieces and this year is no exception.  The cashmere range at £69.00 is machine washable, comes in a choice of 10 colours and key styles including crew, v-neck, roll neck and round neck. The cashmilon alternative basics are now 2 for £20 and come in a range of colours and styles.   This AW, new additions to the cashmere range include the Longline Love Script jumper at £99 and the Pure Cashmere cupcake and cat jumpers are also at £99.

Many of the chunky and animal motif pieces are a refreshing alternative for those who are usually a fan of Topshop, River Island, New Look, Miss Selfridge, ASOS, H&M and Primark pieces.
