Dubai Jumeirah Beach Resort Review

Dubai Jumeirah Beach Resort (JBR) Holiday Review

When to go to Dubai

Dubai is a great destination to visit if you are looking for a holiday with plenty of sun guaranteed at pretty much any time of the year.  To date we have visited for a week in both late May and late November and have had unbroken sunshine throughout.  Temperatures were higher in May, but almost heading towards becoming a little uncomfortable particularly if you are keen on lying on the beach all day and in the evenings there was little or no breeze.  However, in late November the temperature in Dubai whilst still being 30 degrees C plus every day, was a little more comfortable.

Where to Stay in Dubai

Dubai is becoming increasingly more popular amongst tourists from across the globe as a popular holiday destination.  Renowned for its luxurious accommodation including the world’s only 7 star rated hotel (Burj Al Arab) and the Atlantis which has its own aquarium and waterpark, Dubai is a fantastic location if you are looking for a holiday to relax and unwind, yet still have plenty to keep you entertained should you wish.

The most well known resort in Dubai is The Palm Resort, named as the land that is built upon is shaped like a palm tree.  The Palm is home to the Atlantis and The Jumeirah Beach Hotel (not to be confused with Jumeirah Beach Resort, JBR) and is known for being the destination for the rich and famous.

Jumeirah Beach Resort (JBR) is a resort that has rapidly grown over recent years and is becoming increasingly popular with tourists as it is a luxurious yet non pretentious atmosphere.  JBR is a short 30 minute taxi ride away from Dubai DXB Airport and is also easily accessible via the Metro line.  The resort is just along the coast from The Palm, infact you can see the Atlantis and The Burj Al Arab from JBR.

Hotels in Jumeirah Beach

There are a wealth of hotels to stay in when visiting Jumeirah Beach Resort including the usual Hilton, Sheraton and DoubleTree by Hilton.  As a young professional couple with no children, we have stayed at the Sofitel and the Amwaj Rotana hotels during our time in JBR, both of which we would highly recommend to others.  Both hotels are luxurious, yet affordable (albeit we do tend to get last minute deals using Expedia).  They are always clean and friendly, with approachable not pushy customer service.  Both hotels have fantastic healthclub facilities (gym, sauna, steam room, treatment rooms) and relaxing outdoor pools.  The Amwaj Rotana and the Sofitel are literally within a minutes’ walk of each other and directly overlook JBR beach.  We have stayed at both hotels on a bed and breakfast basis only, as we do not tend to eat a large lunch whilst on holiday and enjoy going out to sample a variety of restaurants rather than having to endure the same hotel buffet spread every night you can get with some all inclusive packages.  The breakfast buffet offer in both The Amwaj Rotana and The Sofitel is extensive, serving both cooked and continental styles.

What to Do in Dubai

Jumeirah Beach Resort is the perfect destination to suit a range of different holiday preferences.  If you like to spend your days lounging by the pool or soaking up the sun at the beach, then dining at restaurants overlooking the sea by night then JBR is the ideal place for you.  Equally, if you have children or if you prefer to have more variety and explore further afield in Dubai then JBR is also for you.

During the day the atmosphere is relaxed and peaceful.  There are many families and a wealth of different cultures at the resort.  The beach is clean and there are playparks for children both on the beach and in the water.  If you are a couple looking for peace and quiet then do not let this put you off as despite JBR being very family friendly, it still remains relaxing during the day.   If you stay at The Rotana or The Sofitel they provide you with complementary beach packs which include towels, a beach mat, water and an umbrella.

In the evenings JBR becomes more bustling with the sound of Arabic music and the sweet smell of shisha smoke.  There are a huge variety of restaurants and coffee houses.  There are also shops including places to pick up souvenirs and tourist gifts from Dubai, there is Victoria Secret, Sephora and various clothing stores if you fancy a holiday splurge without going too far afield.    You could quite easily spend your holiday without setting foot outside JBR.  However, should you wish to visit more of Dubai, you are not far away from all of the tourist spots.  The tram network has just recently been complete in JBR which means you can quickly and easily reach the main metro line to take you across Dubai.

Above and Below: Jumeirah Beach Resort promenade by night

Whilst in Dubai it is worth visiting The Palm to see The Atlantis and The Burj Al Arab hotels.  For all you Shopaholics The Dubai Mall is definitely a must which is the world’s largest shopping mall and here you can also visit the Burj Khalifa which is the world’s tallest building.  If you are visiting the Burj Khalifa then be sure to book your tickets online beforehand as they are always sold out.  We tried to book tickets a couple of days in advance and even then they were still all sold out so do not make this mistake, book before you travel!  From JBR The Dubai Mall can be accessed directly via the Metro line in about 30 minutes and costs about £8 for two people.  The Burj Khalifa stands directly outside The Dubai Mall and in the evenings there are regular watershows accompanied by music in the lake surrounding the building.  The Dubai Mall is literally a heaven for Shopaholics and despite being one myself I have to admit I was somewhat overwhelmed by the sheer vastness of shops under one roof!  There is a Bloomingdales and various other well known retailers including H&M, Forever 21, New Look, Lush, Jo Malone, MAC and Marks & Spencer along with countless jewellery, accessory and electrical stores.  The Dubai Mall also has its own Ice Rink and Aquarium.

Jumeirah Beach Restaurants

When staying in Jumeirah Beach Resort, there is no shortage of choices when it comes to dining out.  At this point I will add that we have very limited knowledge about fine dining and all of the places we have been to are purely trial and error.  I am definitely sure that had we done our research we could have found some far more exquisite locations to have some grub, but the ones that we stumbled across were just right for our needs.

We had a large breakfast daily in our hotel and then for lunch we had fruit smoothies from Fruteiro do Brazil by Jumeirah Beach to cool down in the shade.  Fruteiro do Brazil is an amazing smoothie bar as it only uses fresh fruits.  I would highly recommend a ‘Make your own smoothie’ packed with fresh pineapple, papaya, banana and pineapple or a ‘Recharger’ smoothie which is crammed with acai berries.

When dining out in the evenings there are loads of options along the JBR promenade.  We have eaten at The House of Curry (obviously for curry – their Tikka Massala is delicious!), Aprons & Hammers (Seafood), Fratelli la bufala (Italian – I would recommend their seafood risotto).  When at The Dubai Mall there are also loads of dining options, whether you prefer fast food or a nice evening meal there is plenty to choose from.  We ate at The SocialHouse (a mix of dishes from east and west – I recommend the mozzarella to start and their signature Burger for main).  The SocialHouse is a relaxed diner (similar to TGI’s style).  My favourite quote from The SocialHouse decor was ‘Did you know that STRESSED is DESSERTS backwards!’  We then had a Starbucks tea afterwards outside watching the watershow beneath the Burj Khalifa.

Fratelli la Bufala - one of the many popular choices of Restaurant in Jumeirah Beach Resort

It is worth noting that at Jumeirah Beach Resort and I may be wrong but I am pretty sure across Dubai, restaurants do not sell any alcohol, if you would like an alcoholic beverage then you can purchase these to drink at your hotel before you go out to dinner or when you return.  If this is a problem and you like a bottle of red or white with your evening meal then you can easily dine at the restaurants in the hotels.  However, the restaurants along JBR promenade do sell fantastic non-alcoholic cocktails including my holiday favourites a Pina Colada and the family friendly named ‘Fun on the Beach’.

Jumeirah Beach Restaurant Prices

Prices to eat out at the restaurants in Jumeirah Beach Resort are reasonable when it comes to holiday dining.  For example, for a meal for two with starters, mains and non-alcoholic cocktails it cost us the equivalent of 300 AED (roughly £60). Bearing in mind that all of the Food and drink has to be imported this is not bad and the quality of the cuisine is worth paying for.

Jumeirah Beach Hotel Drink Prices

As previously mentioned, alcohol is not available to purchase in the restaurants at Jumeirah Beach Resort in Dubai.  However, you can purchase alcoholic beverages in your hotel.  In our hotel, the Amwaj Rotana, a pint of Peroni cost 45 AED (about £5) and cocktails were also about this price.

Although I am by no means an expert on travel, or for that matter Dubai, I hope that this review has been somewhat useful for you.  Whether you are thinking of booking your next holiday and need destination inspiration, or if you have booked a trip to Dubai and are looking for genuine advice then hopefully this has helped.  If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact me or comment below and I will be happy to help in any way that I can.

SheInside Stripe Dress - Dubai Holiday Outfit of the Day

Today’s outfit of the day is a Stripe dress that I purchased from SheInside. The dress is a lovely skater style shape in a lightweight material and has a gorgeous low back. The nautical pattern of this SheInside stripe dress is a must-have for a Winter Sun break (or even to buy now and keep for next Summer!)  This dress is also featured in my SheInside Haul video on the Laurashopaholic YouTube Channel.

This SheInside stripe dress is great value and I was really pleased with the quality of the item. SheInside is a great website that I often use to snap up on trend pieces at reasonable prices. If you are thinking of a Winter Sun holiday to battle away the cold, dark, wet weather at home and you need to refresh your holiday wardrobe then SheInside is a great website to take a look at. If you need the items in a hurry, just bear in mind that the standard shipping will take a little longer.

When going on a Winter Sun break, as all of the clothes on the high street are for the cold, wet weather it is always good to know of some go-to websites where you can pick up some instant summer holiday wardrobe updates. You can read my SheInside Review if you have never purchased from the website before.

Topshop Sandals (Sold Out)
Tan Belt (Old)

This SheInside stripe dress is a key piece for my holiday wardrobe as it can be worn is loads of different ways. It can be thrown on over your bikini at the beach, worn casually with sandals during the day to cover up or dressed up in the evening with heels. The beautiful low back makes it look a little more glam and the high neck covers any tan lines or redness from a day in the sun.

The nautical look is great for anywhere when sun is involved. I teamed this Stripe Dress with a tan belt and my Topshop Keepsake sandal boots. I first saw this dress on Mel from MediaMarmalade.com and she styled it effortlessly with a pair of Birkenstocks. I have also seen it styled back to front with the buttons at the front which also looks great and gives a different edge to the dress. A stripe dress is always timeless and I am pretty sure this one from SheInside will feature in my future holiday wardrobes.

What key pieces feature in your holiday wardrobe?

Holiday Outfit Ideas - Dubai Jumeirah Beach

Hello Shopaholics! This week we decided to jet off to Dubai for some Winter Sun.   If you have not been on a winter sun holiday before then I would highly recommend it.  That time of year when the days become shorter and temperatures colder, it is always good to get away for relaxation, a much needed boost of Vitamin D and a healthy glow before the Christmas season kicks in.

When booking a Winter Sun escape, bearing in mind in the UK by this time of year the high street is full of faux fur and heavyweight knits, I did not even attempt make any last minute holiday purchases.  However, there are still some great finds online if you want to snap up a few new outfits for your winter sun holiday.

Dubai is a great destination for a Winter Sun break as you are guaranteed hot sunshine and if you book a last minute trip you can pick up some great value luxurious accommodation.   We came to Dubai for the first time in May this year and loved it so much that we thought it would be the perfect place to come to chill out for a week this Winter.

This outfit from our Dubai trip is a playsuit that I picked up from Primark a few months back for about £16.  The colour of the print makes this the ideal holiday outfit and actually looks more upmarket than Primark in my opinion.  I saw a skirt with a very similar print and colour to this in Topshop.  Playsuits are my go-to item when packing for any holiday as they are so versatile and can be worn during the day at the beach or can be dressed up in the evening for dinner.

I teamed the Jumpsuit with my Topshop Keepsake Boots and I styled my hair with my HairRehab London By Lauren Pope Clip-in Plait.  The HairRehab Clip-in Plait is so easy to use especially when you are on holiday and want fuss-free hair after a day at the beach.

Dubai Jumeirah Beach Winter Sun Holiday Outfit of the Day

Today’s outfit of the day is what I wore for an evening out whilst away on holiday in Dubai and features a White Crop Top that I purchased from SheInside.  I featured this top in my SheInside Haul video on the Laurashopaholic YouTube Channel earlier in the year, but this Crop Top can still be purchased now!  I also have a Black SheInside Crop Top in this style which I featured previously on my Blog.  We stayed in Dubai for a week to get some Winter Sun and relax before the busy Christmas rush begins.

We stayed at the Amwaj Rotana in the Jumeirah Beach Resort (JBR) area of Dubai.  I would highly recommend this area of Dubai if you are looking for a luxury, relaxing break in the sun and it is also great for families.  We visited JBR back in May this year, but stayed at the Sofitel Hotel which was literally round the corner from the Amwaj Rotana.  Both hotels are of equally great standard and I would recommend staying at either of them if you are planning on visiting Dubai.  JBR is a popular resort in Dubai and is full of luxurious hotels and restaurants.  Since we visited back in May, the tram network has also now been finished which makes it really easy to travel around Dubai as it links directly to the main metro line which runs across Dubai.  We used the metro to get to the Dubai Mall one evening and a return ticket for two people from Jumeirah Beach Resort cost about £8 which is pretty reasonable.

I wore this outfit one evening in Dubai.  We took a leisurely stroll along the promenade and then had a delicious curry at the House of Curry which literally overlooks the beach, as do most of the lovely restaurants that we ate at during the course of the week.  I have been wanting to wear this maxi skirt for ages as I picked it up in the Topshop sale at the end of the Summer but since the weather has not been that brilliant I haven’t had the opportunity to wear it.  I saw this skirt in Topshop when it was full price (£65 if I remember rightly) and loved it but they did not have my size, so when I saw it in my size AND in the sale I just had to snap it up.   The colours and the print of the maxi skirt are bold and so I wanted to keep my top simple, so opted for my White Crop Top from SheInside.  This SheInside Crop Top is so versatile and such good value.  I also have this crop top in Black, also from SheInside which also goes with so many different outfits.

Maxi Skirt Topshop £25 (Sale)

I think that the maxi skirt works well with this White SheInside Crop Top because it is high waisted there is no tummy on show.  I love the shape of the SheInside Top as it has a high neck which is slightly cut in.  It also has a zip up the back and the material is really stretchy so it is super comfortable.  I think that this Crop Top is great value and a key piece for my holiday wardrobe.

Excuse the hair as I literally shoved it up in a top knot after washing it.  You know what it is like on holiday you do not want to be doing any blow drying or straightening so a fuss-free ‘do’ is a must!

I will be posting my other outfits from our holiday to Dubai and also a full review of the Jumeirah Beach Resort if you need some destination inspiration, so keep following!

Yankee Candles - Boots 3 for 2 Offer

Yankee candles are perfect for creating a relaxing, cosy atmosphere and what better way to treat yourself than when they are on special offer in Boots.  Yankee Candles are now part of the Boots 3 for 2 mix and match Christmas gift deal.  As the nights draw in and start to get chilly, I love to light up a Yankee candle to unwind with a gorgeous scent and the gentle flicker of light.

Yankee Candle Special Offer

I was so excited to find out that Boots had included the Yankee Candle range as part of their 3 for 2 Gift deal so I thought I would share with you my favourite Yankee Candles.  My favourite Yankee Candle fragrances are Black Cherry, Soft Blanket, Vanilla Cupcake and Pink Sands.   The Black Cherry Yankee Candle is a rich, fruity fragrance which is really sweet just like perfectly ripe cherries.  I love sweet fragrances so it is no surprise that all of my favourite Yankee Candles are actually quite sweet.  However, the Soft Blanket Yankee Candle has more of a musk tone as it contains warm amber it is exactly like freshly washed bed sheets.  The Vanilla cupcake Yankee Candle is one of the most popular Yankee Candles and it is no surprise when it smells so good!  It is exactly like freshly baked cupcakes with a deep vanilla fragrance.  The Pink Sands Yankee Candle is also a sweet smelling Yankee candle but with hints of citrus and floral, like an exotic beach retreat.

Yankee Candles are a luxury treat as they are usually quite expensive, so it is great that Boots have included them in their 3 for 2 special offer deal.  Boots stock a wide range of Yankee Candles and Yankee Candle Gifts including the popular Christmas Yankee Candles.

Yankee Candles can be purchased in a variety of different sizes from Boots as part of the 3 for 2 mix and match Christmas deal starting with the tealights and votive samplers.  These are great for testing a fragrance if you have never tried Yankee Candles before.  You can then buy the jar candles in sizes small, medium and large.  They are definitely worth the price as they last for ages and scent your house with a beautiful, subtle fragrance.

Yankee Candles are the perfect gift idea and as they are on special offer you can not only buy a lovely present for friends or family but why not get one for yourself as part of the Boots 3 for 2 offer.

What is your favourite Yankee Candle fragrance?

Steal Her Style - Rosie Fortescue from Made in Chelsea

Rosie Fortescue from the BAFTA winning TV show Made in Chelsea is always a picture of best of British style and yesterday was no exception with her outfit for the Marks and Spencer Show at London Fashion Week.

Marks and Spencer showcased their Autumn Winter 2014 range which has now landed in stores and online.  The collection has a sixties revival feel with dusted pastels, fluffy knitwear, shift dresses and boyish outerwear.

Rosie Fortescue effortlessly wears this Black Faux Leather Biker Jacket from the current Limited Edition Collection at Marks and Spencer which can be purchased for £89.  She styles it perfectly with this season’s over the knee boots, Spotted Mini Skirt also from Marks and Spencer with a monochrome handbag to complete her sixties look.  This Black Faux Leather Jacket looks far more luxe than its price tag and is a staple outerwear purchase for every wardrobe for this season.  So if you have not yet snapped up your Faux Leather Jacket to see you through into the Spring then this pick from Marks and Spencer is the perfect choice.

Steal Her Style - Alexa Chung

Alexa Chung never fails to make us lust over her latest looks and her ensemble for the Topshop Unique SS15 Show at London Fashion Week on Sunday was no exception.  Alexa wore current pieces from Topshop including a simple yellow crew neck Embroidered Knit by Unique.  She teamed it with a Leopard Print Pelmet Skirt which is one of the hero lines from Topshop’s latest marketing campaign which is modelled by Cara Delevingne.

Leopard Print Pelmet Skirt - Topshop £38

As always Alexa Chung was one of the best dressed attendees and her outfit looked casual, yet chic for the Sunday afternoon London Fashion week show that was streamed live on the Topshop website.  The lemon yellow colour palette was replicated in the Topshop Unique Spring Summer 2015 Collection so Chung’s outfit was well chosen despite her being in the crowd as opposed to the catwalk. Both pieces as worn by Alexa can be purchased from Topshop’s current collection.

The Topshop Unique yellow Jumper is a great staple layering piece for Autumn and would great with this seasons faux fur or shearling gilets to take off the chill.  Leopard print is here to stay for this Autumn Winter and this pelmet skirt is so versatile for both day and evening wear.  Wear with thick opaques, boots and a roll neck with a leather jacket thrown on top to toughen up the look.

Topshop Unique SS15 at London Fashion Week

The Topshop Unique Show is always one of the most eagerly anticipated at London Fashion Week and this year was no exception.  I love the fact that even for those of us that have not been able to attend LFW this year, you can watch the show Live from the comfort of your own home via the Topshop website.  Topshop have streamed their London Fashion Week Shows for the past few seasons.  It was exactly two years ago that I watched the Topshop Unique Show on their website and was filled with inspiration and have loved watching it at every LFW ever since.

The Topshop Unique Spring Summer Collection 2015 firstly showcased feminine sports luxe; a tennis girl feel with a bold colour palette of blue, black and pinky reds against crisp whites and stripes. There were frills and ruffled off the shoulder tops with mini peplums. Footwear was strappy sandals with chunky heels and laced up ankles.  Arm candy was oversized sports bowling bags with bright pops of colour and there was also a monochrome clutch bag elasticated at the wrist. Cara Delevingne opened the runway wearing a frilled skirt and sleeveless high neck colour block top.  She was joined on the catwalk by models Jourdan Dunn and Lily Donaldson to name but a few.

The Topshop Unique Show also featured a gorgeous floral pastel print with yellows, navy and mint.  I loved the oversized jacket in this print teamed with the yellow mesh dress.  I am not usually a fan of yellow, but the off the shoulder ruffled top teamed with the ruffled skirt looked fabulous.

Outerwear was minimal as the show was for Topshop Unique SS15 but I loved the camel coloured coat worn with a bare legs and strappy shoes.  Another of my favourite pieces was the high waisted monochrome stripe skinny trousers teamed with a strapless bandeau top.

The closing look for the Topshop Unique show was worn by Cara Delevingne.  A beautiful sheer embellished dress worn with nude high waisted briefs and styled with gorgeous patent tan sandals with a beautiful white silk ballet shoe style tie up around the ankle.

Make up for the show was fresh faced with smudged berry lips and dark brows. Hair was tousled curls, half up half down with side partings and subtle quiffs.

Best dressed guests at the show were Alexa Chung who wore a Topshop Leopard Print Pelmet Skirt, pointed flats and an Embroidered Neat Knit Jumper by Unique in yellow.  Ellie Goulding looked amazing in a Topshop Unique Body with velvet detail, teamed with a quilted midi skirt and turn over ankle boots.  Anna Wintour was also in the ‘Frow’ for the Topshop Unique Show  looking stylish as ever as she watched beneath her signature dark shades.

So as we are heading straight into Autumn with the evenings getting rapidly darker by the day, the Topshop Unique show for Spring Summer 2015 has got me craving for the sun again already.

Southampton Boat Show: Outfit of the Day

This week sees the annual Boat Show return to Southampton so I thought I would share with you my outfit of the day.  You can read my full review of the PSPSouthampton Boat Show preview day which features my favourite boats from the show including the Sunseeker 86 Yacht which was debuted at this year’s event and was nothing short of truly exquisite.  It really was the epitome of sheer exclusivity and luxury which you wouldn't doubt considering it has a price tag of over £4m!

I thought that dressing for the Southampton Boat Show would be a doddle as waking up it was a crisp, sunny September morning.  However, it did turn out to be a glorious very warm day so I was glad that I didn’t layer up too much for my outfit of the day.  I have been starting to purchase my Autumn/Winter essentials for my wardrobe and this Camel Coloured Rib Sweater from Topshop was one of them.  I do love a cosy, chunky, oversized, casual knit for winter and the colour of this is perfect, ticking all of the boxes.  We went out on a complementary rib ride courtesy of Suzuki Marine so wearing a warm jumper was a good choice.

I wanted my look of the day for the Boat Show to be really casual, laid back and comfortable so I opted for my new Topshop Ripped Jamie Jeans which I am literally in love with.  Those of you who a regulars reading Laurashopaholic will know that I am somewhat obsessed Topshop denim and these Ripped Jamie Jeans are my latest addition to the collection.  Ripped denim is all over the high street at the moment and gives a really cool twist to your jeans.  I wasn’t sure whether I would be a fan of ripped denim, but then when I saw my favourite fitting Topshop Jamie Jeans with a simple ripped knee I thought that I would give them a whirl.  Jamie Jeans from Topshop are my pick for denim as they are a high waisted, skinny fit and I love the classic wash of this ripped pair.

Seeing as we were lucky enough for the sun to be out for the Southampton Boat Show I wanted to get some more wear out of my Topshop Keepsake Boots.  I am literally dreading having to put these away for the winter until next Spring as they have been such a great footwear investment purchase this year.

PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014 | Sunseeker 86 Yacht Debut and Broom 430

The PSP Southampton Boat Show is a boating spectacular that has taken place for the past 48 years.  I had never been to the event until today and having grown up on the outskirts of Southampton we thought that it was about time that we gave it a go.

The Southampton Boat Show is a massive event and a great family day out.  The event lasts for 10 days and is held on the waterfront, starting at Mayflower Park and Town Quay.  There are hundreds of marine and leisure based exhibitors, suppliers and of course many different types of boats to hanker after.

We had a free trip on along Southampton Water on a Rib courtesy of Suzuki Marine which was fun and definitely worth a go.  We also had complementary drinks in the MDL Marinas Hospitality bar to chill out in between pottering around looking at all of the various boats and yachts.

My favourite exhibits at the Southampton Boat Show 2014 were Broom Boats and Sunseeker. Broom Boats were showcasing their newest vessel the Broom 430.  The Broom 430, priced at over £500k is a beautiful, 43ft cruiser with two generously sized en-suite births and a superior quality decor finish throughout.  Broom describes this boat as ‘outstanding at sea, smooth on the river and sheer luxury in the harbour.' The Broom 430 would be ideal as both a sea boat and for exploring inland waterways.  I loved this boat as it felt luxurious, spacious and modern yet understated so you would not feel like a wannabe celebrity!

Above and Below: The Broom 430 at the
PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014

The Sunseeker exhibit literally oozed luxury.  The PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014 saw the debut of the Sunseeker 86 Yacht.  Priced at over £4m the 86 Yacht is highly exclusive and every detail is absolute perfection.  It has three extravagant spacious bedrooms with sea views and en-suite.   The Sunseeker 86 Yacht has a top speed of 30 knots.  This boat was absolutely amazing and probably bigger than most people’s homes!  Plenty of room to relax and unwind in pure exclusivity. Definitely the type of boat for celebrities and lottery winners as you would need to hire a crew to operate it for you (who also have bedrooms with bunkbeds!) but hey we can all dream!

Above: The Sunseeker Exhibit at PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014

Below: Sunseeker 86 Yacht Debut

The PSP Southampton Boat Show is definitely worth a visit if you have never been before.  It was a good opportunity to check out the Broom 430 and of corse the debut of the Sunseeker 86 Yacht.  We were really lucky with the weather and all in all it was a great day out for all the family.

Have you ever been to the Southampton Boat Show?
